This brand new anzan-style omamori is designed to provide spiritual protection for women during pregnancy and labor. This particular talisman is contained within a red-colored omamori bukuro pouch decorated with embroidered flowers and comes from Minowa Inari Shinto shrine located in the seaside city of Shimizu, Japan near Mt. Fuji. This shrine is over 400 years old and dedicated to Inari, the god of cereals and grains who protects the rice harvest and is one of the most important and revered of all Shinto deities.
