Shipping Rates
All items sold are shipped from our office in Shizuoka City, Japan. We carefully weigh and measure each item prior to listing in order to determine that item's actual shipping cost. This allows us to then calculate a single item or discounted combined order shipping charge during checkout which is sufficient to cover postage and handling costs to your country and region.

Shipping Methods
All shipments are via Japan Post economy (SAL) airmail, standard airmail or Express Mail Service (EMS) airmail. EMS airmail includes a tracking number and is typically faster than SAL or standard airmail. The options for SAL or standard airmail are automatically excluded during checkout when the estimated package weight exceeds the Japan Post maximum for these methods of shipment. Please note that we do not use less secure shipping methods such as surface delivery due to the higher incidence of loss, damage and significant delay which we have previously encountered when using such methods. Your understanding and consideration prior to bidding is greatly appreciated. Purchases are carefully packed and shipped within 72 hours of receipt of payment though holidays and weekends may cause additional delay. Standard airmail delivery to addresses in North America and Europe average one to three weeks with more or less time sometimes required for other areas of the world. Shipments which are too large or heavy to be handled by the Japan Post will be shipped by our private freight carrier Nippon Express.

Shipping Insurance and dealing with international customs
We self insure the full purchase value of each order which means that your purchase is fully protected against loss or damage. We do not charge extra for insurance which is automatically included with every order. Additional insurance is provided by the Japan Post for EMS shipments valued up to $200.00 USD. Additional Japan Post insurance is also available for customers who wish to buy it. International buyers should be aware of the laws of their own country and be prepared to deal with any and all customs-related fees and charges. Taxes, duties, VAT and any other levies accessed are the responsibility of the buyer.
